Phoebe was one of my two foundation bitches, both from Mary Lou Cunningham Perry of Tontine Kennels in California. Tontine Kennels is well-known to any fancier of the Kerry Breed, and I consider myself extremely lucky to have acquired Phoebe.

Phoebe is a Specialty and Group placing Kerry. Her image is the type and style I hope always to maintaining in my kennel. I bred Phoebe to Ch Hilary's Finbar The Shadow, for his excellent movement, and then to Ch Wedgewood Felonious Intent, for his head, coat, and temperament. All of the Calix Kerries today carry one if not both of these successful crosses. Phoebe produced 7 champions for me.

When I retired Phoebe from my breeding program, she returned to Lou
Perry in California. Lou has taken two litters from Phoebe, and those
offspring are on their way to becoming champions. Phoebe should finish
her breeding career as a Silver Dam of Merit.
