Marky is the superlative showman, to see him in the ring is to understand why a great show dog is such a thrill to watch. Marky was even more successful in the show ring than his sire, Mac. Marky started his show career with a National Specialty Best in Sweeps, then National Specialty Winners Dog, and his third year a great win - National Specialty BISS.

Then came AKC recognition. Marky came out and finished the first weekend with three 5-point majors and a G4, making him the first Group placing Parson in history. Lastly and best, the win of which I am most proud, a second National Specialty BISS, at Montgomery County Kennel Club under Sandra Goose Allen, who called Marky the ideal Parson.

Marky sired Ch Parson Dusky Mystic Poet, another National Specialty Best in Sweeps and group winning Parson. Marky’s daughter, Ch Parson Dusky Rose, graces the cover of the Milk Bone box (size small!). No Parson has even been able, or will ever be able, to out drive Marksman on the move.
