BISS CH Blencathra Badger and Ch Blencathra NETTLE

Badger and Nettle were littermates that set the bar for classic type and temperament, and their quality has never been surpassed. Badger was a tan/white broken coat standing 14 1/4” and Nettle was a tri broken coat at 12 1/2”.

Badger won the JRTCA National Specialty in the US, and won the breed in its first year at the prestigious Cruft’s in England. No other Russell has done the same. Badger sired over 275 pups in the US.

Nettle produced CH Blencathra Nipper, our second National Specialty BISS. Nipper sired CH Keenlyside Actress, a two time National Specialty BISS. Badger and Nettle retired to England with Paul in 1987.
